I'm looking for a way to have my LCD turn off (atleast the backlight) when Windows tells the monitor to shut off. i.e. When my computer turns off the monitor after it has been sitting idle for x number of minutes, I want my LCD to turn off too. I know there are actions in LCD Smartie that turn the backlight on and off, I just want to make it happen based on the Windows power settings, and I'm not sure how.
Thanks!
Chuck

I think a plugin that checks the Windows API for power management status could make this happen. You would call it from the actions panel and based on it's result turn backlight on and off.
If I will have time I could have a look at this but at the moment am very busy with work.
Will let you know if someone else doesn't take a shot at such a plugin till then!
