Hello,
because there is a custom char limit of 8 i thought about a custom font pack with symbols, like the windows "symbol" font used in word for example.
Is there already something? or could it be done?

Sorry but on most displays the font is held in ROM so can't be redefined unfortunately. Only the 8 characters that you know about are held in RAM.
