Hi I got one of these backpacks to try out, none of the built in dlls seem to work.
I've struggled with the test ini driver. The Documentation doesn't seem to explain if the commands are in hex or decimal.
The only thing i have managed to do so far is get the backlight to turn on with my lcd display.
The backpack is this one:

Any ideas?

Re: Any drivers for the Hobby tronics serial backpack?
Try downloading the newest version of smartie and use the smartie "hardware" backpack driver and see if that will work for you. The display driver you are looking for is DS00HIDA_103.dll And leave the parameters blank. Also get the datasheet for your backpack so you can select the proper jumper settings on the board for the size of your display then match that in Smartie's display size settings...
