Problems with display

I followed the instructins on the webpage and loaded 95/NT Port I/O Driver, then rebooted. I then installed smartie 5.3, and per the instructions with my VFD I set the scroll interval=300 LCD Size=2 x 16 LCD Settings = Parallel (HD44780) and accidentally told it "yes" when it asked to install the driver. Anyway, the display scrolls, but all of the characters are just a bunch of garbled letters and numbers. I unplugged the display, and hooked it up again, but no luck. Can anyone help me to reset the display or make whatever change is necessary to make the display ledgible?

Try increasing the timing multipler.

What VFD are you using, I'm using an Itron 20x2...runs like a champ.

Wiring was a pain, did it 3 times
