Bought a 4 x 20 display to use w/Winamp years ago. I never did end up installing it on that old system. Just bought a UltraMicro Server and I'll be installing ESXi 5 on it. I would love to see a feature that would allow some type of status of my virtual AND physical servers. I have a bit of coding experience, so if anyone wants help w/this project I do have a little time to spare. (This is between setting up a small business, working in the military, and going to school full time.) The physical server will have RAID1 or 0 (would love to see RAID 5/10 supported, but I dont have the hardware for testing ATM). The virtual servers I will be running are: media server, database server, and APACHE web server. Would also be pretty sweet if there was a tutorial on installing buttons to scroll through different status'. One last catch, I'm trying to keep the wiring from going out of control (this beast resides in my living room), so I would prefer to use ODD connections on the motherboard. However, if that is a problem I can always get a serial/parallel expansion card.
