I see others have had trouble or no luck getting LCD Smartie working with the NMedia ProLCD. I have captured a few seconds of activity from the USB and have it in handy HTML format. Would that help anyone to create a working driver? I'd love to be able to get LCD Smartie working with it. I am not a fan of the software that came with it.
Thanks

Re: USB traffic capture NMedia ProLCD
I don't have one of these but having a google indicates that it's based on an FTDI usb->serial chip and an hd44780 compatible display chip. You should be able to get smartie running with this but you'll need to supply lots more info. e.g whats the virtual com port (com750?), what display driver are you using? what version of windows?
have you tried switching the backlight off and on? changing the contrast?
Btw how did you capture the usb data?
