DC++ stats plugin?

Is there a way to get stats from DC++ and output to the LCD like we are doing with some of these other P2P programs?

I am looking into doing it with Azureus and I found a way to use PHP to do it, but I haven't found any comparable info on DC++. It would be really cool to get this to work for Azureus, DC++ and Limewire, actually.

I'm willing to try to do the work if some of you more experienced folks can point me in the right direction (I'm doing a CompSci minor right now, and trying to pick up C++, have a passable knowledge of VB, and I'm using VS .NET 2003)

give c# a shot. chances are as a comp sci major they made you learn java, and it's pretty much the same thing with some minor microsoft-esque modifications. c# plugins are a real breeze to write for lcdsmartie.
