Is this LCD supported?

I came across a crap load of those AlphaSmart 3000's and the LCD screen in them is a 40x4 LCD Module. I made an interface board to hook it to the PC's LPT port. I made a diagram of it from the pinouts of the screen and the LPT port. I tried the HD44780 driver and nothing. It just sits there with the two lines of black characters. Here is my diagram:



The screens were made by Data Image and some are made by Hantronix. The Data Image model is (for the modules that I have) CM400400FRNNA-01

The Hantronix model is HDM40416H-5

They both use the same pinout, which is pretty obvous. They also use ASCII Protocall, I think. If you need anymore information on these screens, just let me know.. Thanks you in advanced.

Wow, never mind on this post. I got it to wrok, I forgot to solder on the DATA Pin 7, lol.
