You'll need to install a temperature monitor utility like Everest or Speedfan to read the temperature (and other parameters like fan speeds) and use a Smartie plugin (available for Everest and Speedfan on this forum) to view that data in Smartie.

I use Speedfan (it's free) to read my Core2duo and system temps and fan speeds in Smartie. I haven't used Everest, but there are others on this forum using it.

Speedfan utility: http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
Speedfan plugin for LCD Smartie: http://lcdsmartie.sourceforge.net/speedfanplugin.html

There's also a plugin at http://forums.lcdsmartie.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1798 for the CoreTemp utility http://www.computerbase.de/downloads/so ... core_temp/
