nVidia GPU temp from Lavalys' Everest or BIOS hacked card??

Post by cloudkat »

Since it seems that a dead end has been reached on importing the GPU temp of nVidia cards from speedfan and/or MBM, would it be possible to get it imported from Lavalys Everest Ultimate Edition??
ww.lavalys.com

To help with this, and I appologize if this is not allowed on these forums, if someone wants to try and attempt this, I have a keygen for the Ultimate Edition that can be downloaded from the above website. I will gladly share this keygen with anyone who wants it to unlock their downloaded trial version.
Just PM me or email me and I will send it to you.

That is if anyone thinks that this is even possible.

Besides the GPU temp, Everest has a friggin' BOATLOAD of other pc stats that may be able to be imported into Smartie.

Another idea is that there is a way to "hack" the stock BIOS of the 6xxx series cards to monitor temps on those cards. Some manufacturers have this enabled by default, such as my 6800 Ultra by BFG, but most other manufacturers don't enable this in their cards for some reason.
Here is a quick and easy way to enable the temp monitoring in those cards that have it turned off.

Maybe this can be used to import the temps into smartie.

Just a couple of ideas. Since I don't know how to program and make my own plug-ins, i'm trying to help you guys in any way I can.
