LCD Smartie

Hi Folks I need your help yahoo check my mail.

Im not a tecky but got all this going with these forums...!

I cant get Lcd to tell me if i have mail in yahoo.........Im certain I need the right SERVER and SSL stuff Ive got no Idea???
any help would be nice as im sure its easy for some ---- but im lost as im not a computer person! yes I googled but just confused me even more, Im tired of typing in server and ssl stuff ----dont know where im going wrong....so (help help SOS SOS)

You need a premium Yahoo email account to get POP3 access, which is what Smartie needs to check your mailbox status. If you haven't signed up for the (paid) Yahoo Mail Plus, you can't get Smartie to show mail status.

If you do have Mail Plus, then type into Smartie's email settings the info from http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/o ... op-14.html

what about hotmail........I got same problem.......?

Ever so gratfull for your reply.........wasted alot of time pluging in ssl and sever crap to no avail......bottom line is they (yahoo) want money.

Can you help me with the hotmail situation ssl and sever... im googling and not seeing what i need.

if you can, get Gmail as it gives you better feature and for free.
With Gmail you can enable POP3 and it should work with LCDSmartie.

Sounds good to me G-mail its is seems to be working great. but on my lcd i always see email 1: how to hide it so i can put my own text lets say gmail not email 1: get what im saying folks also some custom characters would be neet but got no codes! or animated well anything.......luv to see animated boobs or flashing ha ha....

To replace the text you can use search and replace from Limbo and for the custom characters there's my plugin custom char editor that
let you design your own char without the need to code. Check out the plugins forums!

Limbo Im doing great here with the LCD thanks to you and your plugin`s ,,,Had to get some missing dll`s but found em.
Ive now got alot up on my LCD-----for a none computer person Im impessed....cant all be luck just cant be !!!!!

would really luv to try these but the links are broken it seems...........Ive got your custom character program will try it when I get a hour or two alone.........to toy with it.

Must do bouncing or flashing boobs.....sorry all but cmon it just has to be done...
