LCD Smartie

Helo everybody

I'm from Poland and for some time using LCDSmartie with VFD like this

but I need some display (for my girlfriend..), but the one She enjoy is 16lf01ua3. I found only two project with this display in google(all with some prcessors, no way to connect to PC).I have datasheet for this VFD and I can email if its needed.

do i also need a diffrent driver???

You can use same driver, but some functions may not work. In my VFD, for example, bar indicators don't work.
