My LCD Smartie not working

Hi,

I am trying second time to build LCD circuit. I have made connections very carefully. LCD dispaly just shows black boxes on first line of 2x16 display. I'm using smartie v5.4 . Also installed port95nt.exe . I am happy to find this forum now. I 'm sure to get some help from here.

Hello all!

Finally I have succedded in getting results. Acutually I changed settings fro 2x20 to 2x16 for my LCD and immediately I got the device running.
