half workings...

mmm i quite like my 2x16 lcd display which im going to put in a htpc im building but unfortuantly it won't work 100%.

when i connect it, looks great, first line is lit up nice and sharp, but when i load lcdsmartie both rows are half lit, but it does display the writing... i dont think its my soldering of the pin strip because it looks fine...

If the soldering is OK.... then maybe is the addressing of the program...
