It's an in line error.
So it's not a LCD Smartie error Something is going wrong with the nvidia control panel dll (maybe the structure is different in your driver version) (!).
Ca you try an older version?
Thnaks Caesar. No luck with it. It probably has something to do with the fact that it is a 64bit driver. Maybe the plugin is not 64 bit compatible. Not sure. Thanks for your help though. Anyone with a 64bit OS get this plugin to work?
I'm running Vista 32Bit Business on an administrator account with UAC turned off. I got the newest nVidia drivers installed (100.65) and it doesn't work.
Try and do a search on your hard drive for "nvcpl.dll". If you can't find it than nvidia changed the driver structure and until they publish a new way to get the temps nothing can be done.
If you can find it on your drive, please send me a copy and i'll try to work something out.
Don't have Vista yet so I can't test it.

I just tried clicking both of the Download links, and they both seemed to work fine - Internet Explorer popped up a download window for the zip files. I cancelled the download, but the links do work (for me at least).
The lastest version of Everest can read GPU temp's so I currently use the everest plugin for LCD-Smartie for all temp and fan readings. Works great! The Everest-betaversion also has an included Windows Vista Sideshow gadget.
It looks like you are getting some numbers, otherwise it wouldn't throw that error, please check your slowdown threshold and see that it matches the one for your card.
