Only one half of the display

Is it possible to set up LCD Smartie so that the top line doesn't alter when a screen is changed

For instance, I'd like to have the news feed constantly scrolling accross the top line of my LCD whilst having the bottom line displaying various different information such as disk drive usage and emails. I tried adding the RSS feed to the top line of every screen but it resets every time a screen changes so all I have is the first headline and a half constantly scrolling across the display!

Steady lines is not supported!
You can add the same line uin more than one screen instead. However in case of RSS the result is not satisfactory.

I think it's possible to solve this by having a very long second line..

I don't konw if it's allredy exists, but a "hold'n scroll for n sec" plugin would do the trick..

I.e. the text is scrolled for N seconds and then the plugin changes the text..

Yes limbo I tried having the same first line on many screens but as you pointed out it does not give the desied result with a news feed.

Erlis, I had the very long second line and it appeard to work for a while, the problem is that when the contents of one section (ie email subject) changes length, the whole screen jolts by the difference
