Hi,
I'm thinking of getting the SerLCD from sparkfun (Data sheet here).
My question is, will LCD Smartie work with it? I'm planning on using the 'test driver', which should be fine.
The main thing that I'm worried about is that the SerLCD only has 3 connections - 5V, GND and Signal. Is this going to work ok with LCD Smartie?
Thanks![/url]

It's a serial LCD using build in microcontroller (PIC16F688).
The microcontroller stores the commands and displays them to LCD.
I can't be sure about the compatibility of this hardware with LCD Smartie.
The on data connect it comes with is the RX signal, which means that you can connect it on the TX of serial port.
Try to contact the supplier
for more information about the product.
