the 40x4 display size is great. I use it myself. the 40x4 screen size is only supported in palmorb 0.92eb which says it has USB support. However I have found that I cannot get 0.92eb to function with USB. So for the time being, you will need a serial cradle to use this build.
I have found that the only version of palm orb that works with USB support is the newest. I've also noticed that while the source code is available for the newest build, there is no source code for the experimental build that supports this display size. So with out the source I'm not sure we could ask someone to build 40x4 display support into the newest build.
I wish palm orb were maintained by someone and we could ask for a special build that supports this display size, and has the newer USB code.

I stand corrected, found that source right where you said it would be. I guess now all I need is a free/shareware compiler for winXP (I don't think VC++ 6.0 is going to do it) and to figgure out which files to cut and paste to make a 0.92eb build with newer USB support (or a newer build that supports the 40x4 display size, not sure which is the better road)clansley wrote:Full source for all builds in available from CVS.
