Unable to load dlportio.dll WinXP

I keep getting Unable to load dlportio.dll every time I sellect my HD44780 device.

I downloaded port95nt and that wont even install says 16 bit windows subsystem, The system file is not sutable close ot ignore I sellect ignore but dont install. Iv checked the regestry and theres no entry to find?

You need port95nt installed in your computer to use the parallel port with lcd smartie.

we need more informations about your system.

Thanks for your reply but I did say in my post Iv tryed it and it refuses to install.

I did sort it out in the end so for anyone that has the same problem heres what I did.

Downloaded dlportio.zip which has a installer, should the installer not work as in my case you have to copy dlportio.dll to windows/system 32 and the dlportio.sys into windows/system 32/drivers.

Now the important bit you must restart your pc then it will work.
