Hi Guys,
I am having some trouble finding both the datasheet / parallel wiring diagram for my display.
Background: I used to work with some ancient ICL 486 based network servers which ran a small LCD display for status etc. Recently I was out in my workshop and I decided to retro-fit some one of the servers I kept with some modern PC components (I get nostalgic for old hardware) and I thought "wouldn't it be great if I could drive the LCD display somehow". Well, I already had a matrix orbital USB based display running on the unit (I have this display in a project box I move around the various systems I use, which is driven in all cases by LCD smartie). Anyway, I got to looking around online and it seemed like you could indeed drive one of these displays with LCD smartie - the only problem being the display runs a small ribbon cable that went to the old (gigantic 486 mobo) and I can't find any data sheets or wiring diagrams for making a parallel based control cable.
On the back of the display is printed "LBN222R-30", "Q J K114" (in very tiny print) and part of the board etching at the bottom is "Philips"
I've spent hours googling around trying to find a picture of a modified parallel cable hooked up to one of these (old) displays. I'm not an electrical engineer but I can follow a circuit diagram (mostly!) and since I only need the cable interface I'm pretty confident I can get the display back up and running in the old server via parallel.
If anyone can help me with this it would be great as (you can see above) the MO display is a bit OTT for what I need.
P.S I took some pictures but sadly I'm still too new to post them.

Re: Parallel connection cable for Philips LBN222R-30
I forgot to add, the reason I'm having such trouble with this is that the pin connections on the LCD are unlabelled and have a ribbon cable block connector attached to the top so I can't really tell where to start.
