LCD Smartie non-functional on multiple displays

Installed LCD Smartie, but it has no effect on either of the following screens:

Antec Veris Premium [iMON]
Pertelian X2040

I understand the Veris is unlikely to be supported in the program, but Pertelian support is supposed to be there? Somewhat at a loss as to why this doesn't work. Any ideas?

Hi, sorry for the long absence - decided to bin the Veris and go back to using the Pertelian.

Yes, the pertelian.dll is in the displays folder, but nothing happens if I launch LCDSmartie with the Pertelian device connected.

Update - managed to get it to display by changing the port to COM3 - however, it's missing some characters, seemingly at random - tried playing with the baud rates to no avail...

I'm having the same issue with my Pertelian. Is there an updated dll for it or anything? Is anyone else missing characters?
