The trial version of everest does not provide access to all sensors. Did you buy everest ultra? I have not used the older (free) versions, but I got the X before I registered my copy. I believe the plugin will also return an X if everest is not running or if writing to the registry is not enabled.

Thats correct the X is returned from pluging in any "no value" condition.
can you check with registry editor for values to your registry?
Hi all I'm new to lcd smartie, I been using crystalcontrol on my 631 lcd. I downloaded the plugin for everest, I also have everest full version, how do I setup lcd smartie to show the temps on my lcd?
Hi guys, been using LCD Smartie for a while now...just basic stuff and it is great, thanks.
Anyway, what i want to ask is....how can I read extra sensors on my board? I have just bought an Asus Striker Extreme and it has lots of options like... 3 extra temp sensors that I can use anywhere in my system. They work fine in everest but where do I get the information to use them in LCD Smartie? For example, Tmobo will give me the temp of the motherboard but what are these other sensors called? Also have 5 extra fan outputs that I need info on. Probably a simple answer to this but i'm a simple man
Hello, don't you want set plugin so it will show 0 value instead of last value > 0 ? It's possible to set motherboard to stop fans if temperature is low, or if something will stop fan, display will still show last value.
PS : If you stop fan (by hand) , Everest will delete this one from sensor list, if you will leave fan working, this fan will be on list again.
