Post by FormatC: »

I want to buy one of these LCD Demo Board With a 20 * 4 LCD I want to know if it will interface with LCD Smartie and If not what USB Display board do you recommend? (that's also inexpensive like the one I linked to)

Thanks

Sadly, the answer is no, it will not work, USB is only used for power supply.
It is designed as a LCD for displaying stored text in the microcontroller.

Don't know about something cheap that will work.

an alternative to go usb is to do a serial backpack and use a cheap serial-usb converter, that worked for me.
