I only just got my screen... hooked it up to the paralel port, installed lcdsmartie 5.3 and port95nt...
BUT, the screen only shows black squares when i start lcdsmartie. The squares stay there until i restart the computer (even if I unload lcdsmartie)... anyone have any ideas on what im doing wrong?
It's a brand new rig by the way, 64bit 2.4ghz amd, asus a8n-sli mobo, 2gig ram, 7800gtx...
Im so stuck, any help appreciated
Thanks

I have the same LCD from the same suplier, check the soldering on the pins carefully, on mine two of the pins were shorted out by a tiny piece of solder. I just used a craft knife to remove the excess solder and everything was fine. Also check which way you have connected the cable at the back of the LCD.
