Logical function in Smartie?

Post by gaga »

I installed the Axcis MCE plugin for Smartie and now I have the $dll(mci,1,recording,) varible which could be 0 or 1 depending on the Windows MCE recording state. So far I just use the recording variable directly (it shows a big 1 or big 0), but I would like to use it in some sort of a logical equation. How can I display a certain symbol on a display based on the "recording" variable state? I tried to create a rule in the Smartie Actions screen to send the focus to a disabled custom screen when the recording stars, but it doesn't work (my disabled screen never appears, and if I enable it, it appears in sequence, but this is not how it is supposed to work).

Please help!

you have to enable the screen, but put it in its own theme. Then you can make an action that goes to that theme when the recording starts. Then, you have to make an action that goes back to the main theme when recording ends, or whenever you want it to leave that screen.
