I'm looking for help on how to get my onboard VF110 http://www.origenae.com/en/accessory_vf110.htm to light up.
Situation is as follows:
Bought a Origen H7 case. It contains a preinstalled VF110 IRTRANS module.
I have absolutely no experience with these.
As far as I understand there's two parts: the IR part and the LCD part.
Running XP I installed the drivers that came on the UNEED Intl' CD.
IR remote control is working, so no problem there.
But the LCD displays absolutely nothing....
Did some googling and found LCD Smartie.
Installed allright (last known stable 5.4).
Seems to work allriht, but no LCD lighting up.
Next downloaded the VFD driver and put it in 'displays' directory.
When I choose this driver I can not set it to use USB, so it seems.. ?
Next found a couple of posts referring to FTDI driver. As I know there's a FTDI chip on my board, I tried these as well.
Pops up 'error open device'
There is a IRTRANS driver, but this should connect to 'localhost'...
Any help on this subject very much welcome!!
