How to disable screens not need

Post by iwf »

After a few hours of effort I've got LCD Smartie working well with my Imon VFD in a SilverStone LC14M, even managing to get the JRiver plugin working too.

Great product, but I've got what might seem like a stupid question.

Having set my preference as to what I want to appear in the LCD, how do I prevent all the other stuff appearing, stuff like emails news etc.

Thanks again. It's makes buying the IMon product worthwhile

Did you noticed about the "Enabled" checkbox In the screen settings?
 This is the way to disable every screen with unwanted stuff.

Is that all?

And now my next stupid question.

Is there a manual anywhere around? I feel dim asking these stupid questions.

But for my next.

I see that it's possible within the "skip this if question" that's possible to not display a screen if a variable is set.

What i'm trying to do is only display info from the JRMC plugin if JRiver is actally running. If it's not i'd like to display something else, like date & time.

The reverse is trus too. If JRMC is running I only want to display the track info, not the date and time.

As it currently stands the track info only stays if the Smartie setup screen is open, otherwise it cycles through the other enabled screens. based on the time to show setting.

Thanks for the help so far.

There is no documentation currently for the program
but you can find some intructions here:http://lcdsmartie.sourceforge.net/docs.html

Also feel free to make a new post in this forum for every question for the program :D

The default integration of the program is with winamp, MBM and emails
hopefully a set of custom actions may help you to achieve it
but officially is not supported.
