Girder?

As my search for a Tvedia plugin for Smartie was unsuccesful, I will try a different approach.

Is there a way to make Girder to talk to Smartie, I know Girder has it's own LCD-driver, but my display isn't supported.

I have every piece I need and can display messages from girder on the CRT, it's just the last bit missing, the link between Girder and Smartie.
