hello folks ,
im haveing a hard time writeing a plugin for my lcd was hopeing someone could help me out ?
i have a "topaz systems backlit lcd 1x5 model:T-LBK462-HSB "
on their website they have Development Tools and libaries for writing code for the lcd , http://www.topazsystems.com/Software/index.htm

ive been playing with it trying to figure out how to write a plugin so i can use lcdsmartie but im at a dead end !

Are you trying to create a driver for your LCD? or something else.
In any case you should look for an SDK (or an example) from LCD Smartie side, I believe this is the correct way to start developing a dll for LCD Smartie. :wink:

yes i was trying to make a driver for it but im lost !
i just want it to scroll some text or somthen :)

with the c + source codes examples i was able to compile them and get it to
display numbers , but i really have no idea beyond that !

i really dont have any money to offer but i am willing to trade hardware for help !

I cant be sure that is helpful but I suggest you to post here what are your achievements until now. Will a detailed description about the connection type, the driver used, the program settings, and the results.

With all these info you have more possibilities to get help from our supporters. :wink:
