ANIMATE

This plugin lets you "animate" any characters, up to 8.

For example, here is how to use 3 custom chars:

$dll(ANIMATE,1,$CustomChar(1, 1, 1, 1, 31, 31, 1, 1, 1)$Chr(176)#$CustomChar(2, 1, 1, 31, 31, 31, 31, 1, 1)$Chr(158)#$CustomChar(3, 31, 31, 31, 31, 31, 31, 31, 31)$Chr(131)#,1)


This plugin has little testing, so any feedback would be good.

I too have many problems with LCDSmartie, alot of the plugins don't seem to work, even when I've got all the DLLs, like the picturepg plugin, winamp (no spectrum), and sandr
various errors show up, but it looks like maybe using AutopatcherXP may have actually upset installations of NET 1.1, 2 and 3, so once I've tried LCDSmartie on a system not updated using Autopatcher I can rule that out.

You can not use the same custom char twice in one screen, and there are only 8 custom chars.

Put dll in plugin folder, tried some of the examples, i just get

Just wanted to say thank you for the info...about the dlls and download links.
I was dead in the water, but thanks to the above links my LCD is working ANIMATED...yippee...

Seeing I am not a computer person.....
Managed to get the animated speaker working...listed above in this thread.
So I imagine more animated stuff will also work....I crave more now.

Big thanks, after all we all want our LCD`s to look good, no question there.

you can use the same custom character many times.I think you're limited to a total of 8 custom characters any one time. for example I have a graphic equalizer on mine which is a max of 8 chars long. I can't use any more custom characters so that screen looks a bit rubbish.

Once again thanks for the plugin _X7JAY7X_, very nice, looks fantastic on my LCD.

I found the pack of animated stuff Thanks for the PM Limbo and have many up and running in various screens.
