gamestats + qstats

Post by peddler »

Lo all, I am trying to get smartie to query a gameserver using the gamestats tab but no luck :( If i manually use qstats to do the query everything works fine, however if i try to use smartie i get the following error

[execption: I/O error 103]

the gameserver is enemyterritory so it uses the same query as quakeIII (q3s) I have looked for the error but can find no info on it ???? Can anyone shed some light on it please

well tbh m8 anyquery at the moment if i use QuakeIII as gametype in lcdsmartie then bung in my server ip no matter what the requset line is (ie: server name/current map) i always get I/O error 103

I know the server is enemyterritory but as its the same query "q3s" i should get result back yes ?

If i start qstat direct at the command line and enter a query then it reports back np.

for a basic report (not all info is needed for what i want) like C:\qstat\qstat -q3s,noreporttooffset (server ip here) then all ok ???? but it seems as tho lcdsmartie isnt "talking" to qstat.

Or am i missing somthing ???

could be your firewall...

Had the same Error at first on my display, when I entered qstat.exe as a "trusted" program (I use Zonealarm), all worked fine.
