You need a PCI card parallel port card (don't use USB to parallel converter cause these type of converters can support only printers).
The other option is to create your own serial port interface using μC
Dude, just read the description of the CD that comes with the LCD. It's got a full guide to creating a USB or Serial interface for this specific module. As it's a started kit, I would hazard a guess that the CD will be very clear in explaining itself.
I would use header pins on the LCD board, though. That way, as long as you do a neat job on that, it doesn't matter how many times you mess up the cable, you won't be putting the PCB at risk, and it makes for a neater (and some would say easier) job. I've just got all the bits together to do mine, and a pin header was top of the list! Still haven't gathered the guts to jump in and solder yet, I've been to busy with other parts of my project...
