Download speed meter inaccurate

Post by awdark »

Hi
Im still using the Palmorb with a M100.. I actually have four HD4780 displays that I have yet to figure out how to wire. I KNOW I followed the directions exactly, yet I get nothing.

Anyways...
A while ago when the 5.3 was first released I had found that the DL speed guage was inaccurately reporting the speed. This is a screenshot of DU meter and LCD smartie.

I know the previous versions worked well in counting the download speed so I dunno whats up with that.
I dont use the LCDsmartie 5.2 anymore because well... For a while I thought my computer had massive hardware issues which were along the lines of everything associated with the southbridge would fail in about 45 minutes. Ethernet, usb, sound.. so im back with 5.3 and finding complaints. haha

I LOVE Motherboard problems!!

I never noticed that inaccuracy. I really dont use that option of LCD smartie right now. I just need to find time to mount my LCD somewhere.

I dont know if lansley is still in charge of LCD smartie, but Workshed has been fixing bugs. You may want to talk to him.

It's unfortunately a low-priority thing at the moment. Many more essential changes (supporting 64-bit platforms and other common LCD hardware) are up first. Rest assured, as long as this thread keeps getting bumped, we won't soon forget about this problem. :smt006
