In the setup mode for parallel ports, I was supposed to click "No" when
asked if I wanted the driver loaded and I accidentally hit "Yes". Not sure
if that's my problem but the LCD doesn't work. OS is Win2000 Pro but
the LCD works just fine on another machine (WinXP), where I was careful
to click "No" at that same point in the loading. Is there a way to undo my
mistake? Again, not sure this is the problem but am out of other ideas.
Thanks for any suggestions,
Jim

Try to set a serial interface then accept the driver load ("Yes" Button) Apply the changes and after that set back to parallel... accept the driver load ("Yes" Button) and apply the changes again.
Notice the parallel port settings by default (most systems is: port 378, driver boot delay 1 and timing multiplier 1)

Wow! It worked! Thank you so much! If you were here,
I'd buy you a round of Ouzo, Anisette, or Sambucca. Thanks
again and have a nice day and a great weekend.
