International Characters?

Hi!

??? and ??? doesn't seem to be displayed correctly on my palmorb palmpilot. Is this because the matrix lcd display has no support for it or am I doing something wrong? also, if it's not supported, could I use the "special characters" or what is it called?! either way, can I use them to display these characters correctly, if such is the case, how? sorry, I'm a beginner on lcd displays, tried finding the answer but couldn't!
