Noritake CU20026SCPB-T30A?

Post by zephyr »

I have 10 of these displays, and i got them to almost work with the crystal.dll.
The main stuff is right, like most of the text, but there is also much not working at all.

Datasheet for display is http://zephyr.norclan.net/CU20026SCPB-T28A.pdf

I have also tried to use the test driver, but i have some problems with it.
When I set the LCD Type to 5 it automaticly goes back to 7 when I check the config after i started Smartie.
Also when setting plugin to none and using these settings no light at all on display :(

Also..do I have to set plugin to "none", or will the test driver override that setting?

I have tried with this settings in test driver;

The following config is suitable for driving a serial noritake VFD (2x40; CU40026SCPB-T20a). This config was created by HyperEm1.

* Parity=2
* Init=22,27,72,0
* GotoLine1=27,72,0
* GotoLine2=27,72,40
* CharMap=158,190

I then changed 40 to 20, but no go.
Is there a tool or program wich i can make a driver .dll like the rest of these in smartie?

Hope someone can help me get this to work couse I would really like to get this to work.

Btw: Thank for a kickass app =D>

Made a little video of my display running the crystal.dll.

It works for a little while, but then it gets screwed up.

Triplepost here, but i just saw that support of the FIPC8367 controller is ranked high on the request feature list.

Is this a feature that will be implemented soon??

Sorry for the late response. Are you referring to the comma (,) instead of the period(.), the down arrow instead of the block character?

Hi..that is part of it.

The biggest problem is that line 1 or 2 (alternates) in LCDSmartie is showed over both lines on display.
Actually I think the comma is correct..isnt it?
The downarrows is of course not.

Another error if you saw the video is that brightness alternates somewhat.

Got a new datasheet by the way, if it helps.
Its a bit more detailed i think.
