Using a Silverstone LC10M VFD

Post by ttn »

Hey there.

I just got a Silverstone LC10M case with a 2x16 VFD display. Its a USB VFD that works with the included iMon software. But I think the iMon software sucks, so I would like to use LCD Smartie. But I can?t seem to get it to work. It seems that i need to install some sort of virtual com port software to mount the USB to a com port, but i cant finde any software.

It is not possible to use LCD smartie with a USB VFD?? I don?t want to buy a USB to COM port adapter, because i will loose the Ir reciver function. Hope u guys can help me. :)

Best regards
Thomas

I got mine to work with some modifications. I think there is a guide out there that explains how to do it.
