Either I'm doing it wrong, or there's a bug.

I have two email accounts. I set up LCDS to tell me the number of emails in each. I later re-opened the setup window and noticed that all the email info for account 2 had changed to show account 1 info.

I've re-entered it several times. It always loses account 2 info and replaces it with account 1's info.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a little bug there?

EDIT: I've found that if you enter the info and close the setup window, it works correctly until you re-open the setup window. When you do, the email2 settings are lost and you have to re-enter them.

I checked this with my lcd smartie config.
unfortunately you have done nothing wrong...

I think you hitted a bug....

email accounts have the same settings on configuration screen reopen

Maybe Clansley have more to tell about it and provide a solution... if it's posible...

Sounds nasty, I have 2 email accounts setup and they seem to be working - but they have been there for a while, so it may be a recent bug.

Work around: edit the config file directly.

Can you create a bug report so this gets fixed, thanks!

Problem fixed editing the config file...

Any change or addition to pop accounts through config screen forces account to change to first POP account

Sounds like the config file isn't being written properly. I'll check into this. But as with any bug report, it's important to know what version of Smartie you are using. Is it the 5.3.2 beta from the website, the version out of CVS, or the release candidate I posted?
