Beta tester USB LCD

Post by Ruben »

HTvision is an online LCD store and we've developed a USB LCD. The display works almost the same as the Crystalfontz USB LCD's (632 and 634). It looks to work fine with Smartie software, but we would like to be sure. Therefore we're looking for a couple of serious beta testers. If your interested you can send an email to htvision.com or a PM.

Thanks for all reactions so far! We've selected some beta testers who are willing to test the USB-LCD for us. When the displays are on market I will post again in this thread

I would like to thank our Beta testers. With their useful help we could create a good working USB-LCD wich is compatible with Smartie LCD.

I've got an HTVision USB LCD here. And I'm writing my own linux software for it.
But my problem is that I can't use the scrolling marquee function (/021 and /022 from CrystalFontz).
What command do you send to the controller, so the text can scroll over the display?
I ask the creators of the USB LCD controller this question and the don't have an answer on it... :?

Thanx..

From what I understood during testing, the HTVision supports only basic functions. Scrolling is most likely not one of them. LCDSmartie doesnt use the scroll command for the MO displays, I assume it doesnt for the CF displays either. You will have to do it in the software.
